Right next to the Dallmayr pasta department, you can find over 100 types of bread from more than 15 different bakeries in the region. The aroma of the baked goods lures many a customer to the rear of the venerable sales hall, where fresh soft pretzels and a diverse assortment of rolls are available for a quick snack.

Delicate orange marzipan, artful nougat brittle and fragrant raspberry truffle - exquisite filled pralines and hand-made chocolates await you in the Dallmayr confectionery. By the way, our in-house factory produces these sweet treasures fresh each day using the finest ingredients.
More than 70 cooks work for the delicatessen, which is readily apparent in this department. Exquisite salads are presented in large porcelain trays alongside hand-made medallions and heavenly deserts.

The main entrance opens up into a world full of delicacies - presented under a vaulted ceiling supported by marble columns. Deer antlers adorn the walls. Decorated with cherubs, the famous Dallmayr fountain forms the centrepiece of the entrance.
More than 120 different marmelades, jams, jellies and almost 50 pure types of honey make any kind of bread a treat. These products include in-house creations such as the refined orangello marmelade and the Dallmayr coffee jelly or rarities like the delicious macadamia cream and the honey with fruit from New Zealand.
It's really difficult to choose from the huge selection of more than 150 cheese varieties: Alpine cheese from Bregenz, pecorino with truffles, cream cheese with basil, or the Bavarian "obatzda" cheese made according to a traditional recipe are just a few of the cheese creations offered by Dallmayr. However, the expert sales clerks are glad to help every customer find just the right cheese.
Only the finest, freshly roasted blends are filled into the famous hand-painted vessels from Nymphenburg and weighed out by the saleswomen. This familiar yet fascinating scene mesmerizes thousands each day in the Munich delicatessen.
Hand-carved smoked salmon, prepared according to a recipe that thrilled the Russian Czar as long ago as 1862, is just one of the specialties in the Dallmayr delicatessen department. Fine truffle delicacies and an enticing range of vinegars and oils are regarded as very special culinary delights - not just by connoisseurs.
A popular place for gourmets to meet, to see and to be seen. While other customers do their shopping in the delicatessen, the guests here enjoy rock oysters on ice or the finest canapés with Beluga caviar and a glass of champagne.
Papayas from Hawaii, pineapples flown in fresh from the plantation, mangos from Brazil, Comice pears from France, green asparagus from Peru, porcino mushrooms from South Africa - vitamins are available in many forms in the fruit & vegetable department. As has always been the tradition at Dallmayr, only the freshest, highest-quality products are on offer each day.
Maressita Manocchio knows the secret to making the best pasta: for 13 years, she was in charge of her own pasta factory in the small, sleepy town of Lanciano in the Abruzzi region. She now devotes her talent to preparing very special pasta varieties at Dallmayr - fresh every day and directly in front of the eyes of our customers.
Pastel-coloured pétits fours, artfully decorated charlottes and many other aromatic treats compete for attention behind the glass display cases, making the Dallmayr pâtisserie a popular attraction in the delicatessen.
Freshness is a matter of course here: Dallmayr always serves the best natural delicacies the market has to offer. Lobsters are simmered in a fine broth, salads are merely marinated gently. Convince yourself of the cooking skills of our master chef Diethard Urbansky - while enjoying the grand view of the Frauenkirche church towers.
